10.6
I want 10.6 to sync with my Palm without having to buy an extra piece of software.
Is this too much to ask?

an "innovation" in voice control. I mean come on the one in apple is from the mid nineties and doesn't work at all.
For example this is what I would like to see:
ME: "computer could you please open that document I was working on last night, the one on irigation and turn to page 23 ?"
Imac: "The south australian report or the victorian report"
Me: "The victorian one"
imac: "By your command"
That and not piss farting around training it for my dialect.

Or you could just click Recent Items and opening it without all this pissfarting around?
Much easier I think.

Or stick an alias to Recent Documents in your Speakable Items folder, say "Recent documents" then double-click on the one you want.

I guess we all need to be able to dream!
You are asking for a operating system that can extrapolate a question and respond with a question that is correct and relevant. This is as near to AI as you could possibly get without quite crossing the line. The computational hardware required is beyond a "normal" home computer in my view. I know that this is a wish list but are you serious?
I'd personally like to see DX10 for 10.6 (I've got about as much chance as Fluffy has of getting his wish!)
Ps. I don't think 10.6 will be announced as in development next month. I think 10.6 will arrive 2010.

Or:
Me: "Computer, I am feeling a little despondent this night. Please open that document that made me laugh a while ago."
Computer: "Was it the hearty chuckle or the cynical guffaw?"
Me: "The hearty chuckle. Fool."
Computer: "your wish is my command ... (dickhead)"
Me: "What was that".
Computer: "Nothing, nothing, Just the harddisk playing up."
