time machine folder
and moving right along to the next time machine question...

when i first used time machine, it was physically connected to my computer. when i used finder to look at the drive, it had a lovely system of folders of each individual backup.

having reinstalled leopard, and moved an airport into the equation, it now only creates one file called ......sparesebundle

will the folders come back, or have i done something wrong?

Nope, if you are using Time Machine to back up to a drive on another machine (or device) over the network, instead of writing directly to the drive, it creates a disk image for Time Machine, as Time Machine uses features of the disk that are (as I understand it) only available to a directly connected drive.
