a few weeks ago i had appleworks on my mac. i was playing round with stuff and ended up formatting/reinstalling from the recovery discs that came with the mini. all standard stuff that i do when i get a new computer to see how recovery/installation works etc.

anyway, i've installed pretty much everything that came with the mini in the box, and i can't for the life of me find appleworks?! this is a bit distressing actually because it looked like it was pretty useful software.

now correct me if i'm wrong but shouldn't a recovery disc setup the computer to be exactly how it was when the box was opened?

i've installed the bundled software on the osx recovery discs, i've installed ilife, and its just nowhere to be found??

odd...

I'm going to quickly respond before this gets pushed of the New Posts list.

I don't have a mini, so I'm interested in hearing what CDs do you have on you (that came with the mac of course)?

OSX install discs, iLife discs & Software Restore discs?

the mini comes standard with iLife '05, OSX Install CD with bundled software (quicken, a few games, some development tools), OS9 Install CD

mine also came with a bluetooth cd for updating the bluetooth module and installing the keyboard/mouse.

Appleworks *should* be on the recovery disc.

If it isn't, I suggest you get in contact with your reseller or Apple directly and enquire.
