Which desktop enhancements do you use?
Which desktop enhancements do you use?
In particular, I'm looking for a free dock enhancement program, which applications do you suggest and are great to use?

I am using Candybar, which allows me to change icons and the dock on the fly, is that what you mean?

If you have Photoshop you can edit the dock yourself. Otherwise I can't help ...

My only enhancements include; skinning my dock, makeing the indicators brighter, different icons (black) and remote buddy (if you could classify that as desktop enhancement. Also coversutra.

With a lighter background: -
Dock design is called Amora by David Lanham as are the icons.

I like the sci-fi look to these icons and the fact that the folders are flat and bare so that I can scribble my labels all over them! |

I got an Obsidian Dock and Willow indicators. Candy bar to manage them.

I use a different dock, but I just copy the relevant .png files to the relevant place, and restart the Dock. I think my current one is a leather texture.

I use a dock I designed myself
I used to go into the system files and change it manually, but I got CandyBar and LOVING IT!
