OSX HUD mods...

someone asked me about this in the desktop picture thread. figured i would share. now, first...i take absolutely no credit for these mods. they were all downloaded from another board that i frequent (macthemes2.net). second...ALWAYS BACKUP before you edit. i've learned the hard way, you don't have to. now...

OSX HUD Installer:
MacThemes / About This Mac, Shutdown, Process(Force Quit) HUD mod
(includes "About This Mac", "Log Out", & "Shut Down" windows)

Dictionary HUD:
MacThemes / [MOD] Dictionary HUD

Terminal HUD:
Terminal HUD

Transmission & Adium HUD:
MacThemes / [other] Transmission HUD + Adium HUD (UPDATED)

Perfect example of why, if you find a site you really like/need the contents of, you should save copies to your HDD...

Not that I ever do that... I just curse when I go back and the site is 404...

i have all the files and can upload them, but i really don't feel like writing out all the instructions for each file. so, it's up to you. if you know what you're doing as far as replacing nib files, then you should be fine. if not...you should probably wait for instructions.

sorry, they haven't gotten every thing yet. only certain attributes of the system. there's certain things that can't be switched to hud due to programming of some sort. but i'm no expert...who knows....maybe it will happen one day.
