Detect display automatically on wake

Hi all,

I have an external monitor connected to my iBook G4 running Tiger.

When my iBook wakes from sleep, I need to press Command F2 for it to re-detect the monitor, otherwise the display will not be detected.

Does anybody know of a fix for this problem? This is for my in-car Mac and it would be great for me to be able to do this without fiddling around with a keyboard!

Thanks! =)

Wes
