Office 2008: It still sucks (well Entourage & Exchange)
Once again Entourage doesn't work with Exchange properly, unbelievable that you have to have OWA (Outlook Web Access) running to use Entourage properly, which my work does not. Great looks like I'll still be using Outlook 2001 in Classic for another four years!!!
Check out/digg my full rant here:

And this is why you don't install Microsoft products in the first place. If your workplaces used *industry standards* instead of some bastardized propiatery protocols (and for something so important like email for christsake!), this wouldn't happen.
However, IT managers are constantly suckered in by the MS pitch (and the free lunch and dinner and golf resort holiday) and end up buying their shit without consulting the alternatives and the consequences of installing MS software in the enterprise space.

Mail supports it in the same way Entourage does. It relies on OWA or uses IMAP. It's not a true Exchange connection.

Thread title just made me laugh after reading (and being reminded) of MS offering people who upgraded to Word 6 a free "downgrade" back to 5.1...
Ah, Word 5.1 was the best...

That is arguable...
As for '08, I'm just angry it doesn't work with spaces apparently. Still waiting for my copy to 'arrive'.
As soon as that is done, I will post my article.
