Does anyone have a fix for files downloaded in safari ending in .doc.dot?
It is a reall pain. I'll do some more research and post back if I have anything.

I did this and it was much quicker so how do i fix it on my username?

On the new account Word opens up in about four seconds instead of a ridiculous amount of time. Strangely enough, both the test account and the main account get the same message posted in Console.app "Microsoft Word[833] CGBitmapContextGetData: invalid context", however in the test account this message is only posted about 20 times, in the main account its posted several hundred times at least - the exact same message.

Beauty, got it loading quicker now, around 5 seconds on a 17ich DC imac.

Yeah, I caused some havoc on the Exchange server at work, but the more I think about it, the more I think it might be daylight-savings realted somehow ...
No issues since that horrible night, but I'm steering away from teh (shared) Calendar and focusing on it as an email app to try and avoid future problems.
