It is a reall pain. I'll do some more research and post back if I have anything.

Turn off auto login if its on.
Restart your Mac. log into that new account you just set up.

Open Console and keep an eye on the logs.
Launch Office ( word ), it will be slow first time. Quit it and Launch it again and let me know if there is a difference in times.
I did this and it was much quicker so how do i fix it on my username?

On the new account Word opens up in about four seconds instead of a ridiculous amount of time. Strangely enough, both the test account and the main account get the same message posted in Console.app "Microsoft Word[833] CGBitmapContextGetData: invalid context", however in the test account this message is only posted about 20 times, in the main account its posted several hundred times at least - the exact same message.

Yeah, I caused some havoc on the Exchange server at work, but the more I think about it, the more I think it might be daylight-savings realted somehow ...

No issues since that horrible night, but I'm steering away from teh (shared) Calendar and focusing on it as an email app to try and avoid future problems.

Thanks! I didn't think I was stupid enough () to stuff things up that badly ... nice to know that it was an Entourage vs Echange issue, not me per se.

Hopefully come tomorrow morning everything will be back in syc again timezone-wise and things can move along smoothly ...
