Excuse my lack of understanding.
Does this only work for new accounts?
I already have a .mac account and its about to run out in about 6 weeks. If I buy off ebay, can I just insert the code somewhere to update my account?
Those that have purchased, was it to continue an existing account, or was it to start with a new one.
thanks

Yes, you can continue. You can even use a family pack code to change your account from a single to a family membership, as that's what I did last time.

Seems like a great idea if your not going to get scammed. Might give it a go when mine is due.

Only use the sellers who use paypal and if you get stung you have a course for redress and refund!

You should not have to wait long, I bought it about a month ago off Ebay and got an E-mail in about 1/2 an hour. Depends on what time of the day it is where you bought it from as well. I will be doing it the same way to renew next year. $40.00 is a good saving.

Just realised I didn't respond with how my purchase went.
Easy really. It took about 36 hours to get the email with the code. Found the spot to update my details and voila.
 I'll be doing this again.
If anyone else is on fence like I was......jump in the waters fine

Is it usual to still see the renew nag when opening iWeb even after going through the renewal process?
It keeps telling me I only have X days left in my account!
Anyone experienced this?
I'm now a 1yr old mac convert

Has anyone brought .mac recently and can recommend (with link) a good place to get it?
I'm ideally looking for somewhere that will email the registration code, a couple available on ebay.com at the moment will post (snail mail) the code to you and I want access now!

Hi Rasta
This is the guy I got it through, he took about an hour to send through the code. He does not appear to have anything at the moment but can highly recommend. I also bought a 5 user pack from him when my wife's parents went Mac.

Drop him an email to see if he has anymore coming up soon.
Cheers Daniel
