Wondering if anyone can help me getting a Netcomm Roadster II 56 USB modem (clear blue one) going under OS X on my BW G3.

It is Mac compatible, coming with OS 9 drivers, but nothing else. Can you use a generic modem script under OS X to get it going? I've also downloaded something called Modem Magic for OS X, but haven't bothered trying it yet - it looks pretty crappy.

Otherwise, anyone had any success using Generic PC modems on their Mac? I'm interested to see what worked/what didn't.

Didn't even need the script in the end - I thought OS X didn't support the modem as it wasn't listed in the modem control panel, but gave up and plugged it in - works perfectly! Quite a surprise that - thanks Apple
