dashboard in leopard not working
I did a clean install of leopard recently, and for some reason my dashboard thinks its not online, none of my widgets can communicate over the internet.

Anyone had similar problems? and fix?

Check to see if its "Not Responding" in Activity Monitor. Maybe try a "Force Quit" and restart.

You'd be looking for the Dock process… (just incase your looking for dashboard, it's actually powered by the dock).

thanks, tried that, did not resolve the issue.

I've also removed all except the default widgets.

Could it be a DNS issue, I had to manually enter my ISP DNS servers before some of my other apps would work.

try creating a new account and see if it does the same thing in there (you can use the guest account if you want).
