Open Entourage.
Click once on menu item: File and scroll down to: Export...
Click once in the first Radio Button, named: Local contacts to a list (tab delimited text) - and then click once on the right arrow at the bottom of Export window.
It will produce a Save As window, naming the export: Contacts Export.txt
Tell it where you want to Save it - ie: Desktop, and then click once on the Save button.
A progress bar will whizz across as it exports and when it has finished, click once on the Done button.
Copy the Contacts Export.txt file to your other machine.
Open your Address Book, click once on the top menu item: File, scroll down to: Import and across and down to: Text file...
In the Select text file to import window, click once on your Contacts Export.txt file and click once on the Open button.
In the Text File Import window, click once on the OK button and it will start importing your Contacts text file. If it finds a duplicate, it will give you choices to: Keep Old | Keep New | Keep Both | or Update.
Make your choice out of the four options, click a check into the: Apply to All box, and click the OK button once.
Your Address Book has now pulled in your former Entourage Contacts.
To be extra sure it keeps them there, click once on the top menu item: File, and scroll down to: Back up Address Book...
If you did so now, it would name the Address Book Back up file as: Address Book - 10/12/07 - and this is best stored in your Documents folder.
These contacts will now be available to you in Mail.
cheers,
