Powerpoint template not opening in vista!
Hi all....

I have create a powerpoint template for a client of mine (I am using Office for mac 2004)....she clearly has Vista and is unable to open the template!

I would have thought that a newer version of PP would open up this older version absolutely fine - but it's not playing ball....

does anyone know of this issue - or have any suggestions on how i can get round this?!

Haha....that would be the common sense thing to happen..but it was made by Microsoft.

You made need a plug in for it to work that stupid new Office.... it has the worst compatibility I have ever seen...

When you go to Save it (or resave it in this case) check the PP's Save As Compatibility Report... - found as a button at the bottom of the Save As window.

I had a sneaky feeling that this was another case of MS's stupidity!

I'll give the "save as" a go...and also check for plug in....muchos gracias fot the speedy replies!
