Can anybody help me out with this?

In the Apple Mail program the preferences only allow for checking mail between 1 minute - 1 hour. Do you know if there is any plugin that allows for less frequent (ie more than 1 hour between checks) mail checking?

Also, an Exchange email account I have set up in Mail seems to get mail almost immediately - certainly quicker than the 1 hour I have it set to. Do you know if this is standard for Exchange accounts in Mail?

Any comments appreciated.

I have no knowledge of mail.

If you need a workaround, you could probably disable checking in mail and set up an automator action to check every however often.
