I upgraded to Leopard and iLife 08 last week, so it's hard to pin down what went wrong, but I can't import into to iPhoto anymore - well, not consistently.

The upgrade went fine and I can see my photos fine, and my library has been converted into the new package format. When I try to import, it fails - The following files could not be imported...

Before running to the forums for help, though, I poked around a bit, and here's what I found. The folder Import inside the iPhoto Library package (which I keep on a separate disk to Leopard), has Read Only permissions. When I set this to Read and Write, the subsequent import works, but then the folder reverts to Read Only, and subsequent imports fail again.

Does this ring a bell for anyone?
