Leopard + Networking

So i installed leopard and im loving it.

I'm on a wireless network at home. I have a mac (obviously) and my friend is running Vista. Another friend is running tiger on a macbook.

The only thing is, none of us can see each others computers. I thought it was just meant to show up in the side bar.

How do i set this up?

Thanks.

Nathan.

I've had no problems between 10.4-10.5 and 10.5-10.5. It's been a helluva lot nicer than previous versions ever were. As soon as I turned file sharing on (System Preferences > File Sharing) the remote computer showed up in the sidebar. It's about time they sorted this out.

Vista is a pain to set up for file sharing.

Have a search on the web.

Samaba shares on my *nix box showed up straight away. Not sure what problems you guys are having but network browsing in Leopard actually works!

Have you guys turned on Sharing on the computers you want to access? Go to System Preferences -> Sharing, then turn on "Personal File Sharing". (This is on Tiger, don't know about Leopard).

If you haven't shared a computer, you won't be able to access it!
