Leopard - "It's arrived!" and "First impressions" thread.
With Leopard being delivered from tomorrow morning for those of you in metro areas, I thought it would be a good idea to keep all "It's arrived!" and "first impressions" of the new OS in this thread.

I figure this is a better spot than any to post. Three reviews have been posted today, 2 by our favourite fan bois (Pogue & Walt) plus one from USA Today.

Enjoy!

Great review in Green Guide
The Macman in the Age Green guide gives a great review today. His comment "Mac OSX Leopard makes MS Vista look like yesterday's leftover custard" is a gem.
After watching Steve's presentation I can't wait to get my copy (ordered from the Store yesterday, 48 hours to ship).

With all the hype... I of course turned off... most partly cos I know I can't much afford a new OS at this point in time, with a new baby, no job, no more scholarship as I finish uni in 2 weeks...
But I have to say, reading some of the reviews, and reading a few of the threads on here... OS 10.5 is looking pretty big...
I got away with ignoring OS X for a good number of years... but not sure I'll now want to get behind again.

Thats right.
I went to DJ's today and they are not allowed to sell it till 6pm tomorrow (friday), so technically it is Saturday here in Australia. Our City store (here in Brisbane) of DJ's will be opened tomorrow night so you can get it from there I have been told. Anyway I am getting it Saturday and looking forward to it (I hope ).

,,, "Mystic" in this instance refers to a code name for Apple's first Dual G4 towers
I don't think he or she will be getting OS X to install on a 25Mhz '040

I'm thinking a thread titled "It's arrived & First impressions" the day before release already has 13 responses is hilarious
Oh by the way Byrd your avatar is the best ever. I can't stop laughing
