It does. But doesn't look too good tbqh.
It's off by default, and probably for good reason.

You would think if there is something wrong during install, Mac should have the fits and stop installing or something.

Nope, if there's something that is corrupted on the disc, it will likely copy said corrupted files into your system folder. Then one day, when your system goes to use whatever system file it was that had the corruption, it will probably crash your computer. That's if there was a corruption on the disc (which is unlikely). Not a chance I'd choose to take.

not sure if it's been mentioned yet but did anyone else notice that the icon for samba shares now shows up as a little PC with a blue screen of death?

Yay, finally got my copy of leopard after some shipping issues on friday... Did an upgrade install, everything seems to be working pretty well. Nice to have a unified interface finally! I'm going to use Time Machine, but need to get an external HD first.

Leopard roars :)
Did an Erase & Install last night - very impressed. Leopard is very fast and stable for me so far. New Bootcamp drivers are pretty slippery as well. No issues with any apps as yet.

Don't think anyone has raised this point yet.
Has anyone successfully installed Leopard on a pre 867Mhz G4 Mac.
Just waiting for Dana to announce she's running it on her classic.
Can I bung it on my 400 G4.

Hi all. Long time lurker, first time poster
I have so far avoided installing 10.5 on my MBP as I am afraid of Parallels incompatabilities (as I require Outlook and Vis. Stud. for work), however last night I did a clean install on my old Dual 867 Mirror Door G4 Powermac (768MB RAM and I think a GForce 2 MX or something pov).
Install went smoothly, approx 45 mins, OS runs better than I expected on the old beast, although without any kind of transparency effects (on Dock, Menu Bar, etc). Speaking of which, Im not much of a fan of the 3D dock, looks too busy, think I'll be adjusting it to be 2D. Perhaps it will look better on my MBP with transparency. I dig the more refined and unified look of the finder windows, makes the Tiger interface look clumsy by comparison.
Installed iLife '08, excluding iMovie which requires more beef and iDVD which I will never use without iMovie. iPhoto runs smoother than the previous version. Then installed Adobe CS2 which appeared to work fine, however at 3am I decided sleep was more important to me than testing out software

For anyone thats interested, the Terminal code to change the bottom-of-screen anchored Dock to 2D is as follows:
% defaults write com.apple.dock no-glass -boolean YES
% killall Dock
