VMware 1.1 Beta + Win XP installed fine
Photoshop CS3 works fine too.. not sure about the rest of the CS3 suite though.

Backed up my macbook onto a firewire drive.
Installed Leopard ...
Plugged in Firewire drive - askedd if I wanted to use it for TIme Machine. I said no.
Copied all my old files back after a clean install.
Tried to eject hard drive - told me it was in use.
Had to Relaunch Finder thru Force Quit to eject it.
(my only bug)
I have updated my Iphoto library, added music, imported movie projects ...
all is running sweet.

wow, i did an upgrade install so i can play with it tonight before i do a clean install tomorrow, to be honest i may not bother with the clean install at all. i clicked install on the dvd, went away, watched south park, came back and saw my shiny new desktop
had a quick play with most of the features shown on the guided tour video and i'm very happy with things so far.
also noticed there's already an update for the remote desktop client. does anyone know if thats only leopard or is it for tiger as well?
having a couple of networking issues with airport and internet sharing but i'll work through those after dinner.
all in all, very happy. i must say apple really know how to make me feel like a kid again. i haven't counted down to anything quite like this since I was 8 years old and it was the week leading up to christmas!!

I broke my keychain. Probably not a bad thing as it was pretty old. It's semi working and I can recover my data anyway.
Some new apps in the utilities folder. Directory looks interesting.

I fix I noticed is that it now does not keeping asking for a password when connecting to a Netware server, even if you had remember password turned on.

Well, the archive and install managed to fail right at the end when it tried to import my user profile. *le sigh Still, I've dealt with more difficult installs in the past and have manager to retain all of my hair.
