AutoCAD on a Mac mini
Does AutoCAD run at full speed on the Mac mini at both 2D and 3D?
Or am I asking for trouble? Can I even use the latest version, 2008?

It definitely would in 2D but I think the 3D might be limited by the graphics card/drivers.

In a somewhat related matter, I'm running AutoCad 2008 on my Windows Vista 64bit through Microsoft's Virtual PC software and it runs super smooth with its "S3 Trio 4MB" graphics!

If it's 2D you want, it should run absolutely 100% through bootcamp and just as fast through virtulization.

Switched the day iTunes Aus opened with late 2005 PowerBook G4 15' 1.67ghz with 2GB RAM; iPod 4G 30GB; cheapish Windows Blista PC for gaming (intel C2D, 8800GT)

Still an Apple fan but cannot forgive them for pulling FireWire support from the MacBooks!
