HELP: iTunes quits unexpectedly on sycning iPod

There is something wrong with either my iTunes or iPod cos like the title of the thread suggests, iTunes unexpectedly quits when I trying to sync my iPod and by my observations it seems to do when sycning podcasts.

Help anyone?

I already tried trashing .plist files of iTunes and updated to the latest iTunes version.

Thanks in advance

Cheers
Billy

Try syncing it, but don't sync podcasts. if that works, then try syncing one podcast at a time, it could be a certain podcast/video podcast that's crashing iTunes.

Did syncing only your music work?

Turn off podcast syncing. Create a new playlist and drag some podcasts into it. Set that playlist to be synced with your iPod. If it crashes keep moving podcasts in and out of that playlist and syncing until you find out which one is causing the problem.

Your iPod is smart enough to reject rubbish

If you find out which one it is then find the actual file in the Finder and see if you can drag it into QuickTime Player. If that won't handle it then the file is borked. Once you find out what the problem is raise a bug report with Apple because a bad file shouldn't cause iTunes to crash.
