fired up adium this evening.

weird, all my contacts now have their email addy shown instead of their nick names.

the nick names are beside the email addys in the status format. greyed out.

I've tried tinkering with the settings but it still does not show the nicknames without the email addresses.

any idea on a possible solution?

it was working perfectly just this morning.

Umm im not sure how exactly to fix it, but the option your looking for is in the View Menu -> Contact name format. Not sure which of these options is the right one though!

Methinks MSN is screwing up.

I was just chatting to a friend who according to Adium was offline (although obviously she wasn't). Although, she told me that some of her contacts, who were online, were also being shown as offline. (They all use Windows Live messenger)

i tried that, has no response when i change the options!
haha.

freeze might be right about msn screwing up. hmm.
