I am giving you control: desktops a trial run and think it has some good points - what is frustrating me to no end is that it switches desktops when the mouse goes to screen edge. I can't see how to turn this off (if possible at all - though it should be).

I have already moved my dock (usually hidden on left) to the bottom to compensate, though am still finding it a big drawback - enough for me to stop using this app!! Anyone know how to do this - i did not find an answer online at the FAQ, etc.

The other issue - not a fault of this app - is that i am also giving the Gimp and Inkscape a go. Given they both use x11, apple+tab selection does not go to the respective windows (nor desktop). Any suggestions would be appreciated.

[I looked into other (i am a GPL and open source fan) options, though what i read was that they are not being pursued/supported given the impending release of Leopard - anyone have differing info on this ]

the "You Control" series i feel had their heyday in early 10.3 days - like konfabulator.

Stuff like that is best left to the OS in my opinion. Saves constantly dealing with glitches, inconsistencies and conflicts.
