Office 2008? Not quite...

Versiontracker reports the arrival of Microsoft Office 2004 - 11.3.7.

For those waiting for Office 2008 - only 4 more years to go!

BTW...

Well, have to give it to MS, at least it's one of the most updated old version of software ever made!

Out of interest - and myself not being a user of the Intel Macs, yet a provider of services to people who do use them, have others experienced problems running Microsoft Office 2004, in the Rosetta environment?

I pose the Q because folks whom I have setup Microsoft Office 2004 on Intel Core Duos, report back unusual problems which I can't fathom, nor which I can offer solutions.

Some of these problems (possibly bugs) - are things like:

In Word:

• Language is set to: English (AUS), yet keeps snapping back to French.
• No form of Spell Checking works.
• No Grammar Check at all - nor the choice to do so.

And no - dumping the Prefs makes no difference, yet these little problems only seem to affect users with Intel Macs.

?

cheers,

cw
