Woo hoo! Now I can finally give Azureus the boot once and for all.

All I need is the application to use ipfilter.dat files (aka block any address ranges in the file from being able to transfer with you).
Maybe next release :P

I'd suggest you Google, it's not appropriate to discuss

You know, those screenshots on the transmission site really illustrate why I prefer mac apps to PC apps.
I'll be sticking to Xtorrent though thanks

Am I right in saying that Azureus has some sort of built in encryption?
If it does, or if that is even possible...that would make Transmission a killer app.
Having said that, its more awesome today than it was yesterday. And that cant be a bad thing : )

Ok, sorry
Does it download as fast as Azureus? I seem to find theres so many options to tweak I can always get it to run at full dl speed
I'll give it another go if this is the case

Our MacTalk chat network also includes a channel, #transmission, where you can speak to the developer (time difference allowing) directly.

I've had Transmission run as fast as 1.24MB (yes, that's megabytes and not megabits) per second. It's as fast as Azureus

If anyone's using iiNet and the iiNet Belkin modem, and has managed to get it so that Transmission doesn't display this message:
...please PM me. I'm getting decent up and download speeds but it's clearly just not optimal dammit.
EDIT: It works and works well. No need to fix what ain't broke. (Even if it looks broke).

Then you're effectively rewarding an asshat developer for putting his own stickers on a free, open source product (i.e. Transmission)

You haven't got any port forwarding happening. You need to log in to your router and set it forward a port to your local ip, anything between 30000 and 60000 will do, then pop that port into the incoming TCP field.
