No, Thats the Folder that the Default Desktops are stored, i want to know where i should put a wallpaper, so it only appears on my account (not the hdd, in my user folder), without having to go through the System Preferences, because i don't have access to them

No can do, my friend. There isn't one particular 'magic' folder where any image file you place inside will be loaded as the desktop background. You need to use System Preferences. Sorry.

There is a plist file you can play with, but if you don't have access to system preferences I doubt you'll be able to change the plist file.

I forget which one it is though. Can probably find it if you think it's worthwhile.

the plist file: ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.desktop.plist

Good luck deciphering it.

Should be able to open it and view it no problem with the Property List Editor if you have Xcode installed.

Cheers

If you've got a nice animated screen saver you could also do this, and watch your 1337 score rise while they try to restore order on the desktop:
(in terminal)

Code:
(while true; do /System/Library/Frameworks/ScreenSaver.framework/Resources/ScreenSaverEngine.app/Contents/MacOS/ScreenSaverEngine -background; done&)
Cheers
Steffen.
