Activation
I have parralels pointing to my bootcamp partition . When I run The VM I keep getting asked for my activation but when I run bootcamp by itself I dont. How do I reamedy this?

P.S Please no smart arse comments about not using windows I need to run it not want to run it

I believe you need to activate in parallels then bootcamp or something - says on parallels site

I've reactivated my XP license over the phone, and all you do is press a number to confirm its only one installation and it goes through and gives you the numbers to activate windows.

Just select activation by phone and choose the country, then it will give you the number to call. Its a 24/7 automated service.

Fluffy, reactivate in Parallels. Phone MS if you have to. That'll keep your bootcamp activated nicely.

The way to do it is to install in Bootcamp, activate in Parallels. Parallels activates both somehow... I did this a few months ago.
