Now here's something I have been looking for for ages in my recent old PC life! Skype & other similar applications work best with headphones - but when you walk away you cannot hear a inwards Skype call a'ringing! In the same vein its great if you can easily switch from headphones to speakers depending on your whim & need.

Freeware Sound Source enables you to switch instantly between audio devices for input/output & arrange to put "system sounds" in a separate audio device if you wish via a couple of clicks from the menu bar. Anyone who uses audio will find this great little APP invaluable.
