Red, Orange and Green Buttons
Red, Orange and Green Buttons

The three button that resize the windows on my system are gray. I initially thought this was because I hadn't updated the software (I am on dial up so I pick my days to set it up for multi- hour downloads), however it is all updated and the buttons are still gray. What am I missing here?


It is a MacBook 13.3" Intel Core 2 Duo with 1 GB RAM, Mac OS X 10.4.10.

Anything's possible, except skiing through a revolving door...

Location: Back in Melbourne (temporarily)
Go to System Preferences, click on Appearance (first one, top left) and make sure "Blue" is selected in the first (Appearance) menu, not Graphite.

Does that fix it?

Goto System Preferences -> Appearance

Then select blue in the 'Appearance' drop down menu.
