And if you want to resize existing partitions then your probably going to have to spend some money.

I hope leopard will allow us to resize/create partitions without erasing the entire hard disk.

actually you already can in tiger but only via the cli i think (except when your doing it for bootcamp). Although it's much easier to use one of those tools i mentioned above in most cases i think unless you really know your way around the command line.

Sorry for the n00bish questions but is it possible to create a partition out of the free space from my current one using Disk Utility? Or Will I have to resize my existing one?
