Automator, find/replace with "new line"
Hi,
I have been having tons of fun with automator after just getting tiger..
I made a super cool workflow of:

this months calendars
summarize them to text
add text to iPod nano
convert text to synthesized audio (SO BLOODY AMAZING)
add the audio to itunes playlist "event summarys"
(i have my ipod set up to sync with "event summarys" playlist)
then update ipod command

so in the end i get a ipod note of the months events...
and an audio version... so awsome...

one problem though... the text file has no punctuation... therefore.. it is hard to understand... the words are gumbled...

i need to add a period to the end of each line


something like "/n" -> "./n"
i found this: but dont know if it will work???

Cool workflow!

I don't have much to add, because your workflow is more complex than anything I've tried, but shouldn't "Add Suffix to Text Paragraphs" do what you're after?
(as "Paragraph" = return char)

oh yeah... thats right cool... the thing is i dont have a mac here... (am typing on a pc). I have a mac at home...so .. but yeah i guess.. i was in a html mind set, parragraph != carrage return, but in plain text... yeah. that'd be it..
