BootCamp beta

Just looking at the BootCamp installation and setup guide, and it seems to say that beta 1.3 is "for use on a trial basis for a limited time". What does that mean, exactly? Can Apple jag BootCamp at some later date and insist we all purchase a copy? And how can they impose a time limit on the use of the software?

The Boot Camp Assistant will no longer function after Leopard is out. My understanding is that you'll still be able to boot into Windows, just not edit/create/delete any partitions.

Does this mean that it is not worth upgrading to Boot Camp v. 1.3 if you don't intend on getting Leopard for a month or two after it comes out in shops?
