Safari Beta Update now in Software Update
Safari 3.0.2 is now available in Software Update, or directly here. It's a 9.5MB update (for Intel, at least) and is recommended for all users for improved stability and latest security updates.

Can anyone tell me if the Safari 3.0.2 has addressed the problems with Apple Mail?

Is it more reliable / worth the download yet?
From the initial hiccups people had with the original beta - I decided I wouldn't bother - to save me having to uninstall it if anything went wrong.
Is Safari 3.02 that much different / better to Safari 2?

Yay ichat is back to normal speed now. That was ultra annoying for the last week or so.
Still alot of issues with 3rd party apps that use webkit though.

Definitely worth the download. The only issue I had here was the iChat thing, and that's been fixed now (wasn't a massive issue anyway).
It's not hugely different, but it's noticeable enough to matter.
