Another update for VMware Fusion, now Beta 4.1 available

In case anyone missed it, it appears yesterday VMware brought out a newer beta for Fusion. It's now at Beta 4.1 Build 49528 as of 21/6

-- snip --
I am happy to announce that VMware has released VMware Fusion 1.0 Beta 4.1 (Build 49528), which addresses two key compatibility issues with Mac OS X 10.4.10 and Mac OS X Leopard.

1) Apple updated the USB stack with Mac OS X 10.4.10 and with the Santa Rosa-based MacBook Pros. We updated our update our USB support so USB devices now work again in virtual machines with VMware Fusion 1.0 Beta 4.1.

2) Experimental Mac OS X Leopard Support. We have updated VMware Fusion 1.0 Beta 4.1 so that it now installs and now runs on the WWDC Mac OS X Leopard beta release.

VMware Fusion 1.0 Beta 4.1 is now available from:

http://www.vmware.com/mac

NOTE: The web site won't be updated to mention Beta 4.1 until later this evening, but if you go through the download flow the final download page is correct and points to the new beta 4.1 (build 49528) release.

To update to the Beta 4.1 (build 49528) release, download the beta 4.1 build and install over your existing Beta 4 installation. I also recommend you restart your Mac when done.

The Windows Vista Home versions have a license restriction which disallows their use with virtual machines.

Oddly, Microsoft was set to announce the removal of this clause from the EULA, and then did a backflip in the last minute to cancel the announcement, see http://it.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=07/06/21/0440232

True but then again Vista home versions will still work so if you dont mind ignoring the eula then there is nothing stopping you from using them

We still don't know if that's what the poster was referencing. Infact the statement they made was pointless.
