Actual Desktop Stickies
Hey there,
I downloaded this little app tonight thinking that it was something else but it wasn't.
Desktop Sheets
What I thought it was, was something that enabled me to literally stick notes to my desktop. Then when I choose to move everything so that I could see my desktop, I would also be able to see my notes. Before you say dashboard, which I will give an honest effort to after this post, I find that environment a bit too cluttered for what I am thinking.
Anyway I thought that idea would be cool. What do you think?

I have not run Konfabulator for so long. Is there anyone that still does?
And no. I Google! But didn't actually google this one.

It doesn't matter how many other people are running it, if it suits your needs. Otherwise we wouldn't be Mac users, would we?

+1
I fail to see the need for a third party widget running on top of a third party app when what you need is already in your Applications folder...

Simple, when I hit F11 they move to the side of the screen too.
You see, I use F11 a lot. I would like to be able to view my stickies and my desktop files every time I hit F11. I guess I could use Konfabulator, but I don't really want to run it.
Maybe we should just drop it. The idea seems to be agitating people more than anything.

Being an application, wouldn't Konfibulator nick off to the side as well?
Why not use F12 instead and use the Dashboards stickies?

Enable Dashboard Developer mode? And remove all unneccesary widgets.

Dashboard developer mode goes the other way, he wants it to be on the same layer as the desktop icons, the dashboard developer widgets are on the highest layer before they become sitting on your keyboard
even show up ontop of keynote!

Nope, not if you set a widget up as a locked, desktop widget. Install the utility, add a Sticky, right click on the "i" button, and go to "Configure". It works exactly as morgs requested.
