Previewing animated GIFs
Hey guys, been a happy Mac user for a couple of months now, but one of my biggest complaints is the fact that I can't get animated GIFs to play without having to open them in a web browser. Preview doesn't do it unless I open all the frames, and that's not really display an animated GIF properly anyway. Is there an easy and effortless way to preview animated gifs in OSX without using a web browser? Thanks.

My partner is sitting across the room on her chair with her macbook balanced in her lap and she says she just uses Quicktime to view them. I've never tried it so won't vouch for this technique 100% (but I'm not telling here that!).

why not? its the perfect solution, and its already installed on your mac
