Mac OS X Leopard to be based on Ubuntu Linux.

Leopard delayed cos it's going to be based on the new Ubuntu also released in October? The evidence seems to be pretty strong.

I don't believe it, so I will believe it when I see it. Until then, I guess we wait.

Unhappy poor devs

Ok, so who's going to call Adobe and tell them all that work they did on CS3 was a waste of time?

And I was so hoping for Delicious Library 2 too.

I just hope that dana never has anything serious to report/announce.

'The boy(girl?) that cried wolf' springs to mind!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHA

*BREATH*

AHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH AHAHAHAHAHAH...

Linux is still very insecure and very immature compared to BSD, and i'll bet my left testicle that this is bullshit.

Apps would all need to be recompiled.

Apple would have to release the source code to plenty of their proprietry code under the GPL Licensing scheme, and thats just ONE reason why they went with BSD

I like how he calls the BSD and Mach architecture "creaking and old" but ubuntu is apparently the be-all and end-all

BSD is a REAL unix, Linux is not - BSD is just as cutting edge as Linux, it just sometimes lacks hardware support (mac users however have them all made my apple for them)
