Anyone thinking about clicking on any Babya links should read this first:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Babya_Logic
Most importantly this bit:

The purported developer is an amusing entity on the internet, having a history of making frequent and outrageous claims for what are essentially rebadged source-code examples, and spamming forums with product releases and announcements.

aafuss, please stop posting links to your "software" on this site. Thanks.

Actually it works (creates iPod ready files) and isn't a joke.

Ok. Here's your next and possibly final warning.
We know about the history of "Babya" and what you're all about. MacTalk doesn't tolerate this kind of spam. Feel free to stay on the forum and contribute, but if you continue to post links to your highly suspicious software, then you will find yourself immediately banned.

Since moving to Mac about 5 years ago, I've looked for a capable and free/shareware DTP application. I liked what I used on windoze and couldn't find anything that I really liked on the Mac. RagTime really didn't work for me. All the commercial apps were too expensive for me.
Last week, I found Scribus ( http://www.scribus.net/) and I'm impressed! Want to add it to your list, [MREV08]?

Firefox remembers too ... all your open tabs, everything.

So does Safari. Or maybe it's that Saft plug-in.
Cheers
Steffen.

Yep, that'd be Saft, not Safari itself.

Firefox also has an excellent Scrapbook plug in, that allows you to save web pages.

i Have been useing Skype as my main IM Client and find it to be the best for me. Has funcion included to allow cheap phonecalls worldwide through your computer, and you can even re route your landline completely through the internet if you wish. I s also compatible with the built in i-sight camera. Only other one I have found that is compatible is Yahoo, but I prefer the greater functionality of Skype.

Thunderbird is a good free app that can be used for newsgroups. I have Thunderbird sitting next to Mail.app in my dock.... Mail for Mail, Thunderbird for Newsgroups. I wish Apple would add newsgroups to Mail.app....
