Does anyone know a good programme for the Mac with which you can play online chess? Does anyone actually do this??

I've installed it myself. It's very easy provided your webserver has php enabled and you're running MySQL.

Or, simply search google for "online chess." There are plenty of free chess servers out there.

Just make sure you don't get rooked. =)

Gameknot is great too, lots of players all over the world and you can join online tournaments. Your chess rating also gets updated after each match (up/down) depending on the rating of your opponent.
