Smile Outlook Data > Apple Mail

Hi,

New to the forum here

Just purchased a G5 and would like to bring all my business emails etc all over to my MAC Mail, anyway of doing this? E.g. converting the PST file? I have alot of accounts to so any help greatly appreciated!

Yeah, O2M certainly beats what I was going to suggest which was exporting to outlook express, then to entourage, then import the entourage archive into mail.

I went from Outlook to Outlook Express... then straight to my @mac email - via .Mac!

If you have a .Mac account - you set up your new folders / account in Outlook Express as an IMAP account - and then just copy and paste all your data in Outlook Express from your current email address / program... into the Mac email (still in Outlook Express).

IMAP means that it obviously then copies all of the data to the Mac server...
then next time you turn on your G5 it will copy all the data off the Mac server into your new Mac!

And its a free option.

In the amount of usage or time this other methods consume, it would have just been easier, simplier and better to buy O2M to $10. Hey, that's the price of how many litres of petrol?

Emailchemy, while not free, does an excellent job, though for Outlook I think it's a 2-stage process.
