*noobie mac user alert!*

Is there a program for Mac that is akin to the Microsoft program Paint? I just need to be able to whack together really simple stuff, which I used to do all the time in Paint, no worries.

Don't really want to fork out for a complex expensive thing either...

seashore is one, its an osx port of the infamous Gimp

http://seashore.sourceforge.net/download.php

alternatively there's Tux Paint http://www.tuxpaint.org/download/

otherwise, GraphicConverter (www.graphicconverter.net) which is payware (or free with all g4 powerbooks with it preinstalled)

GraphicConverter is for me as it's already free for me :P

but if i didn't have it? I'd buy it. Otherwise its seashore for me


bear in mind, I'm not sure if they're universal (graphicconverter is at least)

cheaper than photoshop, if all you need is basic editing, have a good read on the site, you can download the manuals too from memory
