ok so i bought a 1gb flash drive, and what i would like to do is ...

every time i plug the flash drive into my mac, it will sync a certain folder from my mac to the flash drive.

anyone know of any good app's that do what i need ?

Silverkeeper is the most crappest software I have ever tried to use!

I use FileSynchronization. I think it was originally based on the file sync utility in OS 9 which I used all the time. Anyway this is easy to use and set up and I've never had a problem with it.

I like the idea of this...
and I'm even considering trying to work out a way to sync both ends...
certain folder on my PeeCee at work... with my beautiful 17" PB at home.

One direction sync? Isn't that a copy instead of a sync? If it is, then it's not too hard to create an Applescript that does that.

Not sure how to make it automatic though.
