Yep, Microsoft's Remote Desktop Connection, a tiny program run on a Mac to control a PC.

If this is a little risque for the forums, i'll take it down, or if one of the admins is on, they can do it.

BTW, the background is a photograph I took a while back.

I used a Ricoh G4 Wide 3.2 MP Digital Camera. Bought myself a well deserved Christmas present.

goto: www.konfabulator.com/

Its like a Java XML etc. type thing....very technical. :P

Its comes with a few good wigets to use which float around your desktop, same as the calander at the top which I think is partially blocked by my chat client. Uses sweet fug all resources. You can select which wigets you want running, each wiget is like another app, ones to show battery charge, tv shows (although, found nothing that works here in Aust, remote controls for iTunes. There's alot of stuff.

Plus there are more on the site.

I use to have WeatherMenu running in the menu bar at the top, but it used too much resources for what it was and the accuracy of the weather was not always spot on, plus it defaults to the authors settings after a while unless you pay the fee which (being a student with no job) is a hard thing to do. WeatherMenu caused too much grief.

But this Konfabulator is great, if i could afford it I would pay the authors for this one.

I keep tabs on the weather all the time from habit of when I use to ride a motorcycle everywhere, but not I keep tabs on it for Astronomical purposes (telescopes and star gazing).

I don't think the unregistered version is disabled in any way, not that I know of, maybe if I read the ReadMe file. hmm.

Anyway
Steve
