Default Near 2 year old iPod Touch broke

Hi All

Had Applecare so good for me. The home button won't press easily and has to be forced hard to function. Took it to genius bar who confirmed broke and issued order for replacement touch.

Question is will the replacement be a like for like (1st Gen) or would I be lucky enough to get a more recent model. it is a 32GB which came out Feb 2008 and bought mine in March 2008.

Anyone have any experiences with replacements?

cheers

Dave

The replacement will be the same model as the one you gave to them. Apple has a fair bit of those older models in stock for purposes such as these.
