possible yes. price... you don't want to know. (ie mighty clost to the cost of the mini).

why would you want one anyway? there are not logic boards on the market that would fit in the thing.

I'm 99% sure you can fit a NanoITX board into a Mac Mini case. IIRC Kevin Rose (of the Screen Savers) did it a while ago.

Cheers,

I wanted to make a stackable hard drive case for under a mini and use a 3.5" hard drive in one with a 2.5" converter. But if the case is nearly as much as the mini then I think I'll make it out of perspex.

http://www.123macmini.com/

They have links to cases, skins and stackable hubs - a mini only site

also this news item:
Friday April 15 - Arthur Whalem of the Arizona Macintosh Users Group "AMUG" has written an article on how to hook up a 3.5-inch 7200RPM hard drive to the Mac mini. The 1.42GHz Mac mini comes standard with a 80GB 4200RPM 2.5-inch drive but some Mac mini enthusiasts have been disappointed with the 2.5-inch drives performance and storage capacity. Arthur thought it would be interesting to see how performance might be improved if he installed a 3.5" 7200 RPM hard drive on the ATA100 IDE bus of a Mac mini...

FWIW, I priced a G4 case a couple of years back. After adding up all the spare parts required to make up a complete case, the ex-gst buy price was over $1000.

I didn't get the case

I seem to remember you asking about that on OCAU.

If you're still after one, I have one (well, I half-own it with my mate) that we'd be willing to sell. It's a Quicksilver with a dead motherboard and processor.

Cheers,
- Febs.
