Does Anyone Else Here Use Torrents?

Hello peoples,

Does anyone here besides me use torrents?

go to www.utorrent.com for more info. You can't get the program on Mac now but they are making a mac version.

C'mon guys. The OP is a newcomer and may have legit reasons for wanting a BT client (we all know there are legit reasons, what purpose we use them for is not the question).

Tommy94, please excuse my fellow MacTalkers silly responses, they're nice guys really and usually very helpful

Thanks for joining MacTalk.

Xtorrent is amazing- fast too! worth every part of $26!

Highly recommended

I tried transmission a and it kills the bandwidth and downloads soooo slow.

Not recommended at all

I have yet to look for a BT piece of software for the mac (as I just use my PC for all that) but I was about to so this thread was good timing for me.

I just downloaded transmission and it does look to be a very nice piece of software.

Transmission is at version one now and is working well for me. There were a few problems with some of the 0.9 builds though...
