Question iWork 08 Better Than MS Office 08?

Is iWorks Pages, Numbers and Keynote better than MS Office Word, Excel and Powerpoint? I'm just curious because MS Office is awsome but iWork looks amazing. Discuss here...

Both have their Pros and Cons. I personally have upgraded to Office 08 because it can read all the pesky new Office formats.

This is being discussed to death here and a search would have shown you that.
MS Office 08 Or iWorks 08 ?
MS OFFICE VS IWorks
Equivalent of Microsoft Publisher?
iWork vs. Office
New mac user - Office or iWork?
[POLL] Which Office suite do you use?
Pages, is it the best?

I go with iWork - does everything I need.

iWork '08 can read .docx.

I personally prefer iWork '08, far clearer, faster and superior product.

Sadly you can't save excel or powerpoint files in 2007 format. but can save Word docx files. well.. export them TO that format :P

Sorry, I am just being a grumpy bum, just woke up and am a little tired of seeing new threads about this.

No-one has come up with a definitive answer - it is all personal preference or determined by your needs.

Please don't be upset by my grumpy-bumness.

Other threads aside, it doesn't hurt to run the odd spot poll.

I happen to love iWork (I'd like to have Numbers' babies it's so awesome!) That said, there's still a crying need for a decent, simple (keyword here, keyword) database app in both Oriface and iBludge (my pet name for it, it makes what I do so easy it can't be called work )
