New firmware for iMac's with ATI 2600HD
This update is for 20-inch and 24-inch aluminum iMac computers with the ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro graphics running Mac OS X 10.4.10 with iMac Software Update 1.2.1 or Leopard with iMac Software Update 1.3. It updates the graphics firmware on the ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro to improve system stability.

Check software update.

For me so far so good....I've been sitting back on v1.0 iMac Update waiting for such a fix. v1.1 was totally unusable......I've just installed v1.2.1 & the Firmware Update came up straight away (but not before having to reset the pram coz it wouldn't boot....) Next up I'll give 10.4.11 a shot....that better not bugger things up!!
