Resetting Fan Speeds on Mac Pro
Is there anyway I can reset the fan speeds on Mac Pro back to the factory default.

I downloaded Fan Control 1.1 tried it but wasn't happy with the excess noise of the fans. I've followed the uninstall instructions but 3 of the 4 fans are still running at 1200rpm as opposed to 600rpm which they were at previously.

Help greatly appreciated...

Why would they crank up the fan speed? I thought Mac Pro's generally ran quite cool?

I suppose it's because you set the speed to 1200rpm before you uninstalled it...

Just install again -- set the speed back to what you want to (600rpm) and then again uninstall if you wish to...
