The Mac Pro's seem to be priced alright at this stage of the bidding but a couple of the MacBook Pro's seem a bit overpriced for an auction IMO.

+ what iSlayer said.

It's an auction. That's how the auction house make their money.

No! I don't work for them but deal with Grays quite a bit.

Just be sure to calculate postage / freight and buyer's premium before bidding.

I suspect the Mac Pro's will have a spike before the end.

Ultimately you may save a dollar or two... but you will have to be lucky after the premium & postage.

And note they don't come with manufacturers warranty according to the sale notes. Although I dont know how Apple would know.

Yep, the current bids on those 17 inch macbook pros with 15% buyers premium on top and no warranty look very high to me too. I've been watching the auction for a few days, they will sell at about 15-20% discount from retail to the buyer by the look of it. Also note they are category B in the sale, with some fire damage to the packaging.

I think this is the act of the insurance company try to offload the stock to recover some of the insured amount.

If the box has fire damage I hate to think of the long term and unwarranted life of the computer.
